Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Alix moved to BC in 2018. Her treatment approach incorporates hands-on chiropractic techniques, soft tissue therapy, and personalized exercise plans for her patients.

She is a former kinesiologist and yoga instructor, and now as a Doctor of Chiropractic she blends her years of expertise to provide each of her patients with a tailored approach to musculoskeletal progress and overall well being.

In addition to practicing manual full spine and extremity adjusting, Alix also has extensive hours of advanced training in TMJ (jaw) focused treatment and rehabilitation. Jaw dysfunction can perpetuate and prolong healing for neck, shoulder, and back pain when not addressed specifically. TMJ treatments with Alix address a variety of conditions including jaw and face pain or tension, night grinding, stress clenching, popping/clicking, headaches, sinus issues, ear fullness/aching, tongue tension, speech changes, and more. Alix addresses these complaints by providing an individualized care plan including a physical examination, soft tissue work, rehab exercises, dietary/lifestyle prescriptions, and mobilizations or adjustments.

Her most used techniques are Diversified, Active Release (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM/Graston), SOT, Craniosacral, and FRC/functional movement.

Her favorite cases include conditions in the shoulder, neck, jaw/TMJ, and chronic headaches. She enjoys treating patients from all walks of life. In her adolescence, she was a decorated equestrian dressage competitor and now rides horses recreationally in Central Saanich.

Hi, I’m Dani. I’m a Master of Counselling student and counsellor-in-training, with a background in psychology and holistic nutrition. My work is grounded in a strong belief in the mind–body connection, and in the understanding that healing often happens through a combination of embodied awareness, insight, and supportive relationships. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time hiking with my dog Brooks, being outdoors, and moving my body—practices that help keep me grounded and inform how I show up both personally and professionally.

My counselling approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from attachment-based, somatic, and neuroscience-informed frameworks. Sessions are collaborative and thoughtfully paced, balancing reflection and meaning-making with practical tools for nervous-system regulation, resilience, and self-understanding. I’m especially interested in how stress, pain, and lived experience are held in the body, and how therapy can offer language, insight, and new ways of relating to these experiences alongside body-based care.

Alongside my counselling training, I hold a diploma in holistic nutrition, which informs how I think about mental health, energy, inflammation, and overall wellbeing. When appropriate and client-led, I may integrate gentle psychoeducation around food, mood, and nervous-system support as one layer within a broader therapeutic process.

At the core of my work is a relational approach that values attunement, curiosity, and collaboration. I aim to offer a grounded, supportive space where we can move at a pace that feels right for you, making sense of your experiences and building understanding and tools that support both emotional wellbeing and nervous-system regulation. I look forward to working with you.

Meghan is registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. She is invested in interventions to change the course of a disease or an injury through avenues in Chinese Medicine.

More about Meg:

My area of practice looks at neurodegenerative prevention, traumatic head injury, soft tissue damage, post traumatic stress, headaches, and tension stemming from digestive issues. I also work with fertility, pelvic health, and postpartum recovery. I employ a range of modalities; tui na (massage), gua sha, cupping and ear seeds in almost every treatment. I am further trained in New Scalp Acupuncture (Yamamoto) and certified with the National Acupuncture Detox Association (NADA).

I have taken a special focus in nutrition, resolving acute disruptions and chronic patterns with solutions that bridge Chinese Medicine and personal vitality. I look at getting to the root of imbalances, while making it comfortable on a new way forward. I believe Acupuncture brings cohesion to the physical body and can radically affect the mind and spirit. I want to give my patients breathing room to access their full capacity and unwind from the distractions of daily life.

I am honoured for these ancient lineages and practises that help us in these modern times become more connected to ourselves. Outside of the clinic, I have an affinity for moving my Qi, outdoor running, and getting into the mountains!
